Green Transportation

Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR) actively promotes sustainable living through community-engaged projects such as the Net Zero Healthy Workshop in Kampung Cikapundung, Bandung. Conducted in Semester Ganjil 2023/2024, this initiative involved lecturers and students from the Faculty of Engineering and collaborated with local residents and the UNPAR Architect Alumni Association. The program aimed to introduce and assess the implementation of the Net Zero Healthy concept, focusing on sustainable housing and transportation. The team conducted evaluations on passive and active building designs, community carbon footprints from daily mobility patterns, and local readiness to transition to renewable energy sources.
