Prof. Teguh Wijaya Mulya from the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Surabaya, initiated the Ecopsychology Study Club in June 2024 as a space for students and faculty to explore the intersection of psychology and the natural environment. The club holds monthly "Garden Discussions" in a gazebo nestled within the campus garden, creating a reflective and grounded atmosphere for dialogue. Each session engages with a range of topics centered around ecotherapy, sustainable lifestyles, and green activism. In addition to these discussions, the club organizes a nature-based outing every semester to deepen experiential learning—last semester’s Hiking for Healing and this semester’s Camping for Healing have offered participants meaningful opportunities for restoration, connection, and personal growth through nature.
