Environmental Management & Improvement

SCU implements comprehensive environmental management that includes:

  • Minimizing negative operational impacts across all campus facilities

  • Preventing pollution through waste audits and policy enforcement

  • Promoting energy efficiency via solar-panel planning and green building materials

Waste reduction and recycling are integrated through:

  • Ecobrick-making workshops led by multiple faculties

  • Student exhibitions such as Aksarasa to raise awareness on plastic and food waste

  • Curriculum-based sustainability initiatives in Environmental Technology, Visual Communication Design, and Food Technology programs

External collaborations—such as with Yayasan Bintari and the University of San Carlos—extend SCU’s impact on urban waste challenges and circular-economy dialogue.
