Didirikan pada 1968, Universitas Surabaya (UBAYA) adalah universitas swasta terkemuka di Indonesia, terkenal karena komitmennya terhadap keunggulan akademik dan keberlanjutan.
Melalui inisiatif seperti Proyek Eco-Green, UBAYA mengintegrasikan kewirausahaan hijau, keberlanjutan kampus, dan kolaborasi komunitas, selaras dengan Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs) yang utama. Dengan tiga kampus—Ngagel, Tenggilis, dan Trawas—universitas ini menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang sadar lingkungan, meningkatkan penelitian dan kemitraan internasionalnya dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan.
